Android Tapp: Reviewed February 8, 2012. 4.5 out of 5 stars. “This game is aimed at readers and lovers of text-based games, and it doesn’t even pretend to be anything else. It knows what its target audience wants, and it gives it to them. I would highly, highly recommend this game to anyone looking who falls into either of those two user categories – you won’t be disappointed!”

A Reelfoot Hoodrat’s Thoughts: Reviewed January 7, 2012. 5 out of 5 stars. “It was so much fun that I had to include others in the fun, Soooo…. I also got Rachel, My husband Torey, My son Dylan and My Daughter Haylie in on the action! One thing we all agreed on was WE CAN’T WAIT FOR PART 3!!”

Here Be Zombies: Reviewed January 2, 2012. ” I’ve read through it twice, making different choices along the way and I could see myself reading this several more times and getting wildly different stories each time.  Really, this is a nice little app to download and read.”

    Hey there,

So I got a chance to enjoy the Zombie Exodus android app. Very pleased. Unfortunately, when I reached the 3rd Chapter and I was given the option to save via email address, it didn’t take. I put in my email address and it told me that it was saved. Then, when I tried to retrieve my saved file in game via web browser, I was notified that my email was not in the system at all. Is there a way to fix this? Or for me to save my progress in future games?

Sometimes, it is best to generate a password than save it. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to Choice of Games’ server so I can’t fix the issue. But, if you email me the details on your character (name, profession, any romances you are in), I can generate a password for you. Email me at zombie (all one word, no spaces).

Can’t retrieve password to continue playing from last save

Excuse me please, i have been playing Zombie Exodus and i am loving every moment of the game, though i have some questions… I have played until part 4 and the game i downloaded for free on the Android market tells me that i need to buy for 99 cents the 4 part, or unlock the full version with no adds for 1.99 cents. what is the diference? if i buy the full version i wont have to pay for the next chapters?

    • jimd says:

The app has advertising at the bottom visible as you read. To remove the advertising is 1.99. Originally, the only way we made money was from advertising; however, we eventually added additional content for 99 cents each. If you don’t care about ads, no need to pay for the no ads version.

I wanted to make a suggestion if it is possible, i wanted to know if it is possible to get a love interest pregnant during the story. i think the tension and choices would be awesome.

Anyway, how many parts will be avaible despite part 4?

  5. Eritheus says:

And another thing, i cannot buy the app directly from googleplay store because it tells me it is free, but when i reach part 4 it ask me for payment, and despite having able credit cards, it tells me that the game is already instaled.

Hi, I think the app in the Amazon app store is buggy. When I try to purchase the chapters for 99 cents, it makes me pay $2 for each. Also, the pop-up window “nags” that ask if I want to remove ads show up every few seconds as opposed to every few minutes (or only when I log out and in) in every other choice of games.

Note that this is for the Amazon app store only, I didn’t even know that this game was available on iOS or Google Play. Also, I would like to suggest that removing ads be an automatic feature once someone makes any purchase. It just seems more customer-friendly and it’s something most choice of game seems to do.

I think that fixing things for the Amazon App store would be good because it has so few apps, that even finding all the choice of games on there is very easy, especially compared to trying to discover them on Google Play.

During the holidays, I downloaded and installed the Amazon App store on my non-kindle Google Play certified tablet (the Hisense Sero 7 Pro) when they were offering a $5 credit if you did so, along with the promise of 1 free app a day. I don’t think I’m the only one who did that, and some cheap tablets out there that aren’t Google Play certified only come with the Amazon App store, not to mention all the Kindle owners.

I don’t know if a lot of people play/buy your game on the Amazon app store because I don’t have any data metrics, but I just wanted to let you know about the issues with this game on there (at least on my device) just as an FYI and also in case it may be a new potential growth vector for this game, if it’s reached close to market saturation on iOS and Google Play already.

I talked to my publisher, and there’s no way to turn off ads once any of the IAP is purchased. Originally, there was no IAP, so the only revenue came from ads. When I added extra parts, the advertising was just part of the app, unfortunately.

As far as the ads being naggy, I’ll ask them to fix that. I can see how it would be distracting. I appreciate your feedback.

I just played the Beta for Safe Haven and I have to say that it seems like it is going to be even better than the original Zombie Exodus which I also thoroughly enjoyed. Keep up the great work.

Firstly, I’ve got to say thank you. This Game was incredibly good, I played till the end of part 5 and I loved every single bit of the game. The only thing that annoyed me was the death of Oncle Lou. I tried to prevent it, but it is (unfortunatly) part of the Story.
Anyway, I was about to ask if you are planning to do a sixth part of it, I would be very happy if you’d do so.

Well, I hope there is going to be another part.
